Google Gemini is the multimodal AI integrated across Google Workspace and available standalone at gemini.google.com. The paid tier — Gemini Advanced is now sold as Google AI Pro ($19.99/month) — runs Gemini 3.1 Pro, whose context window of at least a million tokens makes it suited to analysing entire codebases, books, or hundreds of documents at once, plus Gemini inside Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet, NotebookLM Pro and 2TB of Drive. The free tier has moved with Google's fast Flash cadence and ran Gemini 3.7 Flash as of August 2026. Best for: long-document analysis, Google Workspace users, multimodal tasks involving video and audio. Plan prices are as reported in our August 2026 Gemini review; Google's plan page did not expose US prices to our check on September 8, 2026.
